About Beatriz

I am from Harlingen, TX. I served in the Air Force from 2007 to 2015. I held various job titles in Security Forces. On the law enforcement side, I was a patrolman, a Correction  Specialist at the largest level 1 Corrections Facility in the Air Force, and Security Manager for the largest non-nuclear squadron in the Air Force.  I deployed to Afghanistan as a Security Forces member from 2010 to 2011, earning an Air Force Achievement Medal. I retrained from Security Force to Public Health Technician for the last two years of my service. I moved back to Harlingen after my enlistment was up and enrolled in Texas State Technical College before transferring to The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.  I graduated from UTRGV  in 2019 with a degree in Political Science.
